Locate a professional using the 2008 PLYB

It’s such a joy to complete a quilt top. Now you can easily locate a professional longarm quilter to finish your quilts using the 2008 Professional Longarm Yellowbook (PLYB.)

The PLYB was established in 2005 by the Sewing Dealers Trade Association as a quilt piecer’s resource guide to machine quilters. The directory identifies professional longarm quilters across the USA and Canada state by state. The entries are organized within each state alphabetically by city. The contact information in each entry generally includes company name, owner’s name, address, phone, fax, e-mail and Web site.

Throughout the PLYB, there are also advertisements by the Yellowbook sponsors. Perhaps through these sources, you will find the products and services you need to complete your next quilting project and further develop your love of quilting.

In addition to the hard copy of the PLYB, there is also an online version at www.quiltingprofessional.com. Entries online are divided into five regions. You simply click on the map to view listings organized by state. Online Yellowbook entries will be updated throughout this year in the case that a longarm professional changes their contact information.

The Sewing Dealers Trade Association is dedicated to helping independent sewing, quilting, and embroidery retailers be successful. Shops in these industry categories who regularly receive SQE Professional have received a 2008 PLYB for use in their store.
