Island Bundles Easy to use & easy to love!

Island Batik has heard and answered the quilters’ call for easy to use and easy to love fat quarter bundles with their new line of fat quarter groupings: Island Bundles. Island Batik fabric designer and owner, Moira Dewar has hand selected from her own designs fabrics that comprise the complete color spectrum and that truly showcase the variety, beauty and usability of hand-dyed batiks.

“The fabrics in each grouping coordinate with batik cotton designs in past and current collections,” says Moira.

Once in hand, these impressive and irresistible little Island Bundles are hard to put down. The fabrics included are a testament to the skilled Balinese artisans of Island Batik. Not only are all of the seven Island Bundles gorgeous with their neatly tied Island Batik ribbons, but also each one comes with a free and fabulous quilt project designed by the very clever and talented quilt designer and author of 90-Minute Quilts, Meryl Ann Butler. Meryl’s tips for fast and easy quilting are an added bonus.

The largest bundle is the 36-piece Batikwheel Bounty. This bountiful assortment of fat quarters was selected from Island Batik’s Batikwheel collection and includes medium, darker and lighter values that make for a dazzling array of cotton batiks. Quilters will be delighted to have access to a complete color palette to either create perfectly coordinated multi-color projects or just to have on hand every color of the rainbow in batiks. Wow!

The Batikwheel Sampler is the little brother to the Batikwheel Bounty group. This sweet sampling of Batikwheel fabrics includes 24 fat quarters that also meet quilters’ color needs by including lighter, medium and darker values in one adorable little package. Both Batikwheel Island Bundle fabrics are stamped with an assortment of designs including flowers, leaves, geometric patterns and fun dots.

Quilters who love cool colors will be swept away by Ocean Breeze. This color range of 30 solid color fat quarters includes cooler tones in values ranging from black to the lightest blue and includes wonderfully rich purples and vibrant greens.

Quilters who fancy warm tones will fall in love with Island Sunshine. This 30-piece set includes warmer colors in values ranging from light creams to dark burgundy. Island Batik’s famous, rich, long-lasting and true reds are included in this sunny collection.

For those who value the rich look of multi-colored batiks there is the 24-piece Batik Treasures Island Bundle. This grouping showcases a variety of dye techniques that can really bring texture and depth to quilting projects.

If a more classic, soft look or background fabrics are desired, Naturally Neutral is the bundle to go for. It includes 24 pieces of the ever-popular creamy neutral shades in printed, solid and multicolored fat quarters. Yummy!

Still can’t decide? The seventh Island Bundle, Island Surprise, is too fun to resist. The pieces in this 25 fat quarter bundle will vary and will showcase a variety of colors, styles and dye techniques.
